Our 106th Annual Cadet Review (ACR) was held this past Saturday, June 09, at the historic Seaforth Armoury on Burrard Street. As Reviewing Officer LCol Ed Haverstock, CD, noted in his remarks, this has been a stellar year for our corps: cadets from the 72nd participated in three field training exercises, an exchange trip to Scotland, regional biathlon and marksmanship contests, and in a battlefield tour in Europe. We promised action, adventure, and friendships … and we delivered! [See our summary video on YouTube]
Following the ceremonial review, cadets hosted a series of displays for parents and guests to visit – displays on abseiling, biathlon / marksmanship, Scotland exchange, sports and fitness, cadet ranks and qualifications, and camping / outdoor skills.

In addition our Commanding Officer Capt Mike Millard, CD, was presented with the second bar for his Canada Decoration medal, recognizing his 32 years of service in Canadian Armed Forces.
