Cadet Recognition & Progression System
The transition away from the National Star of Excellence (NSE) is complete. Cadet progression, promotions, and summer training selections are now managed through the updated Cadet Development Model (CDM). Under this framework, cadets are recognized through standard Star Level training objectives, attendance, and leadership achievements recorded directly in Fortress. Details on annual corps awards and nomination criteria are published by the LHQ staff ahead of the annual review.
