New Armoury a Thrill for Cadets

rappel

For some Cadets, rappelling at the newly renovated Seaforth Armoury will be the most memorable event of this month – maybe even the year!

First opened in 1936, the historic Burrard Street building re-opened in September following extensive seismic upgrades and various modernizations designed to allow the century-old Regiment to continue serving the community and to support our 72nd Seaforth Cadet Corps. Among the new innovations was a brand-new rappelling wall, which senior Cadets were able to try out for the first time a few weeks ago. See for yourself!

Joined by Seaforth Cadets from other Corps, it was a big thrill for all to spend an evening at the new armoury learning how to rappel under expert supervision of seasoned professionals. Everyone performed brilliantly and we can’t wait to do it again! Many thanks to the Regiment for your hospitality and support!
